Most anticipated Xbox One games launching next week: Crash Bandicoot, Nier: Automata, and more

Next week we have many new “AAA” release on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Nier: Automata is finally launching on the console, and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy transports you to a world filled with platforming goodness. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching next week, between June 25 and June 29, 2018.

Nier: Automata — Become as Gods Edition

Nier: Automata is an action game which takes place in the distant future. Invaders from another world attack without warning, unleashing a new type of threat known as “machine lifeforms”. In the face of this insurmountable foe, mankind is driven from Earth and takes refuge on the Moon. The “Council of Humanity” organizes a resistance of android soldiers in an effort to take back the planet. To break the deadlock, the group deploys a new unit of android infantry known as the “Yorha”.

Nier: Automata should launch on June 26, priced at $49.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a collection of three famous games which are regarded as some of the best platformers ever created. Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped are all part of the package. Players can relive all their favorite moments in fully-remastered graphical glory.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy should launch on June 29, priced at $39.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

The Crew 2

The Crew 2 is the sequel to The Crew which launched on Xbox One and other platforms a few years ago. While many gamers found the experience to be disappointing, The Crew 2 seems to have learned from those mistakes. You can drive, fly or sail a variety of vehicles this time around and the visuals are suitably gorgeous as well.

The Crew 2 should launch on June 29, starting at $59.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements. Those who preorder The Crew 2: Gold Edition can play it on June 26.

Sudden Strike 4: European Battlefields Edition

Sudden Strike 4 is a World War II-themed strategy game. The series started in 2000 but disappeared after 2010. Now publisher Kalypso Media and developer Kite Games are bringing it back for a new generation gamers. The title was supposed to release on Xbox One a few weeks ago but was delayed until the end of June.

Sudden Strike 4 should launch on June 26, priced at $39.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements. European consumers can play it on June 22.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is a free game set in the Life Is Strange universe that contains links to the brand new story and characters of Life Is Strange 2. The title follows Chris, a creative and imaginative ten-year-old boy, who escapes reality with fantastical adventures.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit should launch for free on June 25. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

Lumines Remastered

Lumines Remastered is an high-definition remake of the original Lumines that debuted in 2004 on the PlayStation Portable. Earning high praise and awards, it remained the top-rated title on the platform for four years and continued on to establish an action-puzzle series. Now it’s finally coming to Xbox One.

Lumines Remastered should launch on June 26, priced at $14.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

Tour de France 2018

Tour de France is a staple franchise and it’s back again this year with Tour de France 2018. The game is a surprisingly deep experience which requires you to manage stamina and energy among other aspects of cycling.

Tour de France 2018 should launch on June 28, priced at $49.99. Those who preorder the game can get it for $44.99.

Other experiences like Epic Loon, Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends, M.A.C.E., Magical Brickout, Next Up Hero, Trove: Geode, and World of Tanks: Mercenaries should also release next week.
