BARCELONA: THE HUAWEI MATEBOOK is the company’s first tablet/hybrid laptop device and sees the firm eyeing up the likes of the iPad Pro and Surface Pro 4.
Running Windows 10, the Huawei MateBook has a 12in IPS display running a 2160×1440 resolution which can be connected to a detectable keyboard to turn it into a fully-fledged laptop. There’s also a Surface-style stylus called the MatePen, which offers 2,048 levels of pressure which Huawei says is double that of rival products.
Prices for the Huawei MateBook start at $699 for entry-level models and climb to a lofty $1,599 for the top-of-the-line version.
