Samsung Galaxy J6 release date, price and specs: Samsung’s latest budget-friendly phone comes with flagship features

Samsung’s line of budget J-phones has been extremely popular in the past, providing people with the stylish body of a Galaxy phone without the costly price, and there’s now a new kid on the block.

The newly-announced Samsung Galaxy J6 comes with the AR Emoji feature seen on the Galaxy S9 – the first time the feature has been added to a budget phone – an almost bezel-less display, and a solid camera line-up.

So what else do we know about the Galaxy J6?

Samsung Galaxy J6 release date and price

The Galaxy J6 UK release date has been set for “this summer” and it will launch with selected partners. However, who these partners are and how late into the summer we can expect the phone is not yet known.

There’s no price attached to the device either, but going by previous J-line releases, it should cost around £200.

Samsung Galaxy J6 display and design

The Samsung Galaxy J6 has a 5.6in Super AMOLED full-front display, making it look somewhat premium. There are minimal bezels on the sides and the screen fills a good proportion of the phone’s front. The resolution isn’t fantastic, however, at 720 x 1,480.
