About a week ago, Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames released an incredibly NSFW gameplay trailer for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus featuring over-the-top violence, coarse language, and even a rather comical sex scene involving two of the game’s side characters. Now, the publisher and developer have decided to give fans an even better look at what the title will look like in action by putting out over 20 minutes of gameplay footage.
As seen in the video below for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, fans can get a look at the protagonist BJ Blazkowicz tearing through a boatload of Third Reich enemies in a once-thriving New Orleans that has now become a rundown wasteland after being walled off by the Nazis. Players’ missions in this run-through will be to rescue Resistance Leader Horton Boone in an attempt to reclaim the city, and they will need to defeat every Nazi along the way with the assistance of a wide array of unique weapons that have a multitude of attachments.
In addition to the combat and dual-wielding gunplay featured in the above developer gameplay footage, Wolfenstein 2‘s new contraptions system is also shown off, with each of the three new contraptions giving BJ fresh abilities for taking on enemies and traversing the environment in dynamic new ways. For instance, the Ram Shackles contraption lets fans ram into both walls and enemies to dish out devastating blows, the Battle Walker makes it easier to reach new areas or evade attacks, and the Constrictor Harness will allow BJ to squeeze into tight spots such as narrow pipes or vents.
The latest Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus video even includes a lengthy cutscene of BJ Blazkowicz convincing Horton Boone and his band of outlaws to join up with the Kreisau Circle and start a revolution against the Nazis’ occupation of the United States. What’s more is that fans are even shown what it’s like to unleash absolute chaos while riding and commanding a fire-breathing Panzerhund.
All things considered, based on the materials shown off in this most recently released gameplay video, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is shaping up to be a fast-paced action title with graphics smoother than a clarinet solo from jazz legend Johnny Dodds. With any luck, once the title releases for Nintendo Switch next year following its launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One next month, the game will be able to retain most, if not all of its intense combat and refined visuals on the Big N’s newest console.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is slated to release on October 27, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and it comes out sometime in 2018 for Nintendo Switch.
